KIRSCH IN THE MORNING: WEEKDAYS 6A - 10A

Kirsch is a BGSU grad who made his way to Columbus radio in 2002 (first stops were in Findlay and Toledo, OH).

He’s “everyman.” A husband and dad who loves the Buckeyes, Blue Jackets, and beer. On air, this leads to a very honest, relatable and unfiltered look at “typical, everyday life in central Ohio.

Kirsch, his wife, and twin daughters live near Delaware. When he’s not on air, he’s usually running kids to soccer practice or turning a home improvement project into an absolute disaster.

MUGSHOTS_35523649-640x512
If there's one thing we can learn from this story, it's that the fine folks of Ross County take their bad pasta VERY seriously.

According to the Chillicothe police department on 6/29/22, they responded to Yoctangee Park after receiving calls about two men fighting. When police arrived they found the two men sitting at a picnic shelter.

When the officer interviewed the two men, one claimed that the other hit him in the head with a can of Chef Boyardee Beef Ravioli and caused a cut-over hit his left eye, the witness told the officer the same story previously. The man also had a cut over his left eye.

Johnnie Lee, Diehl, 27 was arrested and taken to Ross County Jail where he was charged with Assault. He is being held with a $5000 bond and will appear in court this morning.

Jimmie Allen's Odd Tour Rider Request

Jimmie Allen has a bunch of fair and festival dates before he hits the road opening for Carrie Underwood this fall.

Like most artists, Jimmie has a tour rider -- a list of things he would like to have in his dressing room before a show. Among the things on his list are pop tarts, sparkling apple cider, honey graham crackers and one very unusual request -- American Eagle underwear.

He tells Taste of Country, "I like to wear brand new underwear when I go on stage. It's just something that feels good. And I always forget underwear and socks. Always. Those are things you always forget. Last thing I wanna be on stage with leather pants on without underwear. It's just not comfortable."

There ya go, ladies (and some gentlemen)!  Hahaha.  Enjoy that mental image.
