Air Quality Alert Issued For Central Ohio Counties

MORPC

(Columbus, OH) -- The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission is issuing an Air Quality Alert for much of Central Ohio today.

Experts say Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin, and Licking counties will likely see high levels of ozone and pollution at ground level. Active children, the elderly, and those suffering from respiratory illnesses are most likely to be seriously affected.

Sensitive populations are advised to limit time outdoors and plan activities in the morning or evening.
