CMA Music Festival Kicks Off In Nashville

Today is the kickoff of CMA Fest 2022. 

The four-day event returns after the COVID-19 pandemic halted it for two years. Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Kelsea Ballerini and Lauren Alaina are just a few of the performers. CMA Fest' draws over 400 artists and celebrities each year.

Proceeds benefit the CMA Foundation.

Extra Police Presence At CMA Fest

Folks heading to the CMA Fest in Nashville this weekend should be extra cautious of their surroundings. Metro Police say "If you see something, say something." They say there will be a "robust presence" of officers across downtown for the next few days.

Festival-goers should remain alert and tell officers if they see anything unusual.
