Dolly Donates $1M To Pediatric Infectious Disease Research

Dolly-Parton

Dolly Parton is investing in pediatric infectious disease research.

The icon has donated $1-million to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville for the cause. She said no child should ever have to suffer, and that she is willing to do her part to try and keep as many of them as healthy and safe as possible.

This isn't the first time Dolly has made a large donation toward medical research. In 2020, she gave a million dollars to VUMC to aid in the battle against COVID.
