Elle King Forced To Cancel Shows After Concussion

Elle King says a concussion is what forced her to cancel a trio of performances this week.

The "Worth a Shot" singer shared on social media that she slipped down the stairs in the middle of the night while making a bottle for her son. King said the fall knocked her out, but she still tried to play three shows after suffering the injury. She said everything about those performances including the lights and travel only exacerbated things and that's when the plug was pulled on appearances in Tampa, Detroit and Seattle.

King will release "Come Get Your Wife" -- her first full country album -- next month.
