Grand Ole Opry Apologizes After Elle King Performance


The Grand Ole Opry is apologizing after singer Elle King's performance at Dolly Parton's 78th birthday tribute. 

King took the stage Friday during at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. King appeared drunk, used foul language, and seemingly forgot the lyrics to one of Parton's songs. The Opry tweeted "We deeply regret and apologize for the language that was used..." 

King has not publicly commented on her performance.
