Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood are taking home two CMT Music Awards for their chart-topping duet, "If I Didn't Love You."
The superstar duo won Video of the Year and Collaborative Video of the Year. Both stars also performed last night -- Carrie Underwood delivered an aerial performance her newest single, "Ghost Story," while Jason Aldean collaborated with Bryan Adams for the icon's 1985 hit "Heaven."
Kelsea Ballerini Tests Positive For COVID, Hosts CMT Awards Remotely
Co-host of the CMT Music Awards Kelsea Ballerini is recovering from COVID-19. The singer tested positive ahead of rehearsals and agreed to help emcee last night's event from home. Since she's asymptomatic, she was also able to perform her new song, "Heartfirst," as promised. Meantime, the most-nominated artist of the night, Kane Brown, stepped in to help. He hosted in-person, alongside actor Anthony Mackie.
Cody Johnson Wins 2 CMT Music Awards
Cody Johnson won two trophies at last night's CMT Music Awards in Nashville. He won Male Video of the Year for "Til You Can't" and Digital-First Performance of the Year for the CMT Campfire Sessions performance of his song, "Dear Rodeo." The awards are especially monumental for Johnson because they're his first CMT trophies.
Miranda Lambert Wins Female Video Of The Year
Miranda Lambert is celebrating her 6th CMT Female Video of the Year award. Her music video for "If I Was A Cowboy" was recognized as the favorite during last night's awards show in Nashville. Other nominees included Brandi Carlile, Gabby Barret, Kacey Musgraves, Maren Morris, Tenille Arts and Mickey Guyton.
