Jelly Roll Sued For Trademark Infringement

Jelly Roll is being sued for trademark infringement.

A decades-old, Pennsylvania-based dance band says they've used the name, Jellyroll, since 1980 and trademarked it in 2010. The band alleges Jelly Roll's recent rise to fame has hurt their online exposure and sent the star a cease-and-desist order in February. It's seeking injunctive relief for unfair competition and injury to business reputation, among other things.

Jelly Roll has not commented publicly on the suit.
