Jelly Roll is urging Congress to pass anti-fentanyl legislation. The rapper-turned-country star appeared before the Senate on Wednesday. 

Jelly Roll (real name Jason DeFord) served time in prison for charges that included possession with intent to sell, according to the "New York Times." The FEND Off Fentanyl Act passed the Senate last summer but still hasn't made it through the House.
