Morgan Wallen Tour Delayed Due To Vocal Injury

Morgan Wallen's tour is delayed six weeks due to an ongoing vocal injury.  

The country star made the announcement Tuesday on Instagram. He said after performing three shows in Florida, he re-injured his vocal cords. Not only is Wallen postponing the next several tour dates, he's also backing out of a scheduled appearance at the Academy of Country Music Awards. 

Wallen said his doctor doesn't even want him to speak, but he was cleared to make the video post for fans.

Jason Aldean To Perform For Morgan Wallen At ACM Lifting Lives

Jason Aldean will take Morgan Wallen's place at this evening's ACM Lifting Lives event in Texas. The reigning ACM Entertainer of the Decade will headline the show, which takes place at Topgolf at The Colony.

It leads up to the 58th ACM Awards tomorrow in Frisco.
