New Congressional Act Addresses Exploitative Ticket Pricing

A new bill that's making its way through Congress addresses issues with ticket sales. 

It's called the Fans First Act, and aims to increase transparency in ticket sales, protect customers from over-priced tickets, and hold "bad actors who engage in illegal ticket sale practices" accountable. 

An effort to address exploitative ticket pricing was launched in 2022 when Ticketmaster prices for Taylor Swift and Bruce Springsteen soared in response to high demand.
