Oak Ridge Boys Member Joe Bonsall Dies At Age 76

(Nashville, TN) -- A member of the iconic country group, the Oak Ridge Boys, has passed away. Tenor singer Joe Bonsall lost his battle with the neuromuscular disorder, ALS, on July 9th. He was 76. Bonsall retired from touring back in January due to mobility issues. He shared a message with fans, thanking them for their support over the last 50 years. The Oak Ridge Boys are currently on their Farewell Tour with the help of Ben James, who's been handling Bonsall's parts.

(Nashville, TN) -- The Oak Ridge Boys are reeling after the passing of their longtime bandmate Joe Bonsall. The tenor singer died on Tuesday after a battle with ALS. The remaining members took to social media to honor their musical comrade. They remembered Bonsall for his talent and unwavering faith. The manager of The Oak Ridge Boys, Jim Halsey, also spoke out, saying, "You have been an inspiration to fans, friends, and family, especially to me for 52 years. This is a very rough day."
