ODH Reporting More Than 18,000 New COVID-19 Cases

(Columbus, OH) -- The Ohio Department of Health is reporting more than 18,000 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday. 

18,247 cases were reported, that's up around 700 cases since last Thursday's weekly report. 549 new hospitalizations were added, topping the three-week average of 512.

ODH says COVID reporting will be paused for the next two weeks as the National Center for Health Statistics installs a new coding system.
