ODNR

(Columbus, OH) -- The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is offering special controlled hunts this season.

The agency says hunters can submit an application to participate in a lottery for a license to take deer, waterfowl, dove, pheasant, squirrel, or quail on publicly-owned property. The hunts will have specified locations and particular rules and requirements, with applications selected randomly on August 8th.

Those interested can begin applying July 1st, with more information available at OhioDNR.gov.
