Pro-Choice, Jayland Walker Protestors Gather At Ohio Statehouse

(Columbus, OH) -- The U.S. Supreme Court's recent decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and a police shooting are fueling further protests.

A group marching for women's rights at the Ohio Statehouse yesterday was joined by some speaking out against the deadly officer-involved shooting of Jayland Walker in Akron. A portion of the protestors were chanting Walker's name, who was unarmed when officers shot him around 60 times after a foot pursuit last Wednesday.

Akron authorities say Walker fired at them from his vehicle window before leaving a handgun in the car and taking off on foot.
