Safety Nets Could Be Coming To Broadway Bars

Nashville's rooftop bars could look a little different after Morgan Wallen's alleged chair-throwing incident this past weekend.

The country music superstar is facing three felony counts after witnesses say he tossed a chair from the roof-top bar of Eric Church's new venue, Chief's. Now city officials are discussing whether to add safety barriers to the roof-top bars.

Metro police say two officers were standing in front of the establishment shortly before 11:00 p.m. when they saw the chair hit the sidewalk a few feet away from them. Witnesses told officers they saw Wallen toss the chair and laugh about it.

Police also reviewed security footage of the incident. No one was hurt from the incident.
